Having raced on the international circuit for 16 years Justin has a fair idea of what it takes to ride well. Starting out as a privateer on the Downhill circuit he was soon picked up by a small Swiss mountain bike team. He then went on to race for Yeti and Trek World Racing. Justin had several international podium finishes, was a regular top ten world cup rider and a multiple time national title holder.
Following a brief attempt at retirement, Justin was then lured back to the race scene with the creation of the Enduro World Series (EWS), racing for the Trek Enduro Factory Team and then Canyon Cycles until his retirement in 2017. During this time Justin finished 3rd in the EWS and racked up multiple podiums, including winning the Scottish round of the EWS at Peebles.
Throughout his racing career Justin provided mentoring and coaching to team members and riders. He now feels privileged enough to have the opportunity to share the experience and knowledge that he has gathered over the years.
Following the privilege of having nearly four years owning and establishing Jentree, as our private mountain bike park in Marlborough where Justin coached on the tacks he built. We have now relocated to Methven and offer coaching at the epic Mt Hutt Bike Park.
The coaching season stops in May and recommences in Spring.
